Hi, we’re Katie and Luke, the couple behind Mere Coffee.
Mere Coffee started as an idea that we couldn’t quite let go of. We wanted to create our own little business and build somewhere that felt like us, relaxed, friendly and somewhere we’d genuinely want to spend time.
We’re really proud of what Mere Coffee has become and, more than anything, we love seeing people come back, become regulars and make the place part of their day.
We’re still learning as we go, but that’s what makes having our own little place so much fun.

About Mere Coffee Shop
Mere Coffee is our little independent coffee shop in the centre of Diss, Norfolk.
We started Mere because we wanted to create a relaxed, welcoming place that we’d actually want to spend time in. Somewhere for good coffee, good food and a proper catch-up.
We serve specialty coffee from Girls Who Grind Coffee, alongside sandwiches, pastries, cakes and a few other favourites that we’ve picked because we genuinely like them.
Being independent means we get to do things our way, work with businesses we believe in and keep changing things as we go. We’re always trying new things, listening to what our customers want and making Mere Coffee better as we go along.
Most importantly, we wanted Mere Coffee to feel like part of Diss, somewhere local people can pop into regularly, and somewhere new faces feel comfortable walking into.
So that's us. Good coffee, good food and a little spot in Diss that we're very proud of.
